A lack of energy can stop anyone from feeling up to the task, so make sure that your body is fuelled and ready. Try to avoid sugary snacks because they can make you feel tired or drain your energy. Even if you're the kind of person who gets a sugar rush, that isn't the right energy you need for homework!
